Careers education and guidance at The Bridge is is provided by Hampshire Futures, the Careers service for Hampshire County Council. Hampshire Futures work with pupils to the standards set for careers education and guidance.

 

We are keen to involve employers from industry and integrate careers education throughout the curriculum and school life in order to encourage and empower our students to achieve their potential.

 

The careers curriculum includes themed careers days, C.V. workshops, mock interviews and 1:1 careers support. We encourage the students to take part in work experience to give them an insight into the world of work and the opportunities that can be available to them.

 

As students approach their final year with us we explore all options in further and higher education including apprenticeships and traineeships and possible pathways into their preferred area of employment.
